John Kress, Founder and Managing Director of Lyons Executive Staffing, has over twenty years of successful nationwide recruiting experience of sales, sales management, and operations personnel in the medical, real estate and construction industries. John has extensive experience working on engagements ranging from entry level to high level executives and everything between.
Prior to founding Lyons Executive Staffing, John spent one year with Huntington Partners Executive Recruiters providing professional recruiting services to the real estate industry on a national level.
John began his successful recruiting career with Troy and Associates, Inc. in Pittsburgh where he was a top sales recruiter for 10 years. Throughout his tenure with the company, John was an integral part of a team which helped lead Troy and Associates, Inc. to be consistently recognized as a Top 5 performing firm of over 350 agencies on the First Interview Network. In addition, he was an accomplished sales representative with Arch Communications and IKON Office Solutions, winning numerous awards such as Rookie of the Year and President’s Club. John earned a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1995.
